Bowls at Ramsey

If you’re looking for a local, friendly bowls club, Ramsey is the place for you.

We are a competitive club, offering excellent facilities for both new and experienced bowlers. Our well-manicured, full-size 6-rink green is open from the beginning of April to the end of September each year.

Complementing the green is our clubhouse, which opens during the winter months for use by members and for social events.

Membership Fees

Bowls membership is free to members of the golf club, as well as all those under the age of 18.

For individuals, our membership fee is £115 per year. If you join as a couple the price is £222 per year, or £111 per person.

We also charge a £5 joining fee (this charge is only for the first year)

*Membership fees are charged on a yearly basis and are not refundable

Both new and experienced bowlers are welcome at Ramsey.

We offer 3 taster sessions to get you going before you join, with loan equipment available so you can have a go before you commit financially. We have organised roll-ups, club competitions, leagues for all ages and levels,

friendlies, county competitions, social bowling, and more.

  • Course in excellent condition considering all the rain we have had lately, greens perfect, bunkers trimmed and raked. Staff really friendly, bacon roll afterwards really hit the spot. Will be back again soon as really good value for money.

  • The course was in excellent condition, greens putted well, even though I sunk nothing, the greens also held really well. Fairways and rough well-manicured. Did not have one bad lie all day even in the rough. Staff always very welcoming.
